A local Adelaide group dedicated to learning and performing the Saman Dance of the Gayo people of Aceh province in Sumatra. In Saman, the dancers clap their hands, slap their chests, thighs and the ground, click their fingers, and sway and twist their bodies and heads in time with the shifting rhythm in order to convey philosophical, inspirational and religious messages.

You can see them on the Main Stage at 11:50am at the Indofest Cultural & Culinary Festival on Sunday 25 September.
